Service Description

This course is presented in two halves: 1) Generating / acquiring and storing electrical energy 2) Using that energy in a boat’s systems. Optimising the use of a scarce resource at sea and avoiding corrosion are covered. No previous knowledge of physics or electrical theory is required. Includes a boat electrics reference handbook. The course runs for a total of four hours over two weekday evenings and is presented by club instructors, one of whom was responsible for the refurbishment of the electrical systems in Sir Robin Knox-Johnston’s boat Grey Power.
