Course Overview The RYA Day Skipper Theory course provides the essential knowledge for safe and confident sailing. Designed for both beginners and those with some experience, it covers the fundamentals of navigation, seamanship and safety, and prepares you for the RYA Day Skipper Practical course. What will you learn - Chartwork and navigation: interpreting charts, plotting courses and coastal navigation - Meteorology and tides: understanding forecasts, tidal patterns and voyage planning - Seamanship and boat handling: essential skills for safety and control - Collision regulations and procedures Who this course is for - New sailors or those building on basic experience - Anyone preparing for the RYA Day Skipper Practical course - Sailors looking to gain confidence for day sailing in familiar waters Why train with the Little Ship Club The Little Ship Club is located in the heart of London and offers expert instruction in a welcoming, supportive environment.
